Laynie had a full and happy life as a teenager but then she was in a tragic accident and lost her eyesight. She did not let this slow her down. She became a strong independent woman determined to live her life to it's fullest.
Tease had the kind of childhood nightmares are made of and he has the scars to show for it. He learned fast to trust no one and to not let anyone get close enough to hurt you. He is a member of the Kings of Korruption MC and they are as close to him as anyone has been in years, but trusting is still hard.
Tease is working for the club when he first sees Laynie. He'd been coming to the coffee shop every day and she was there. He doesn't know why but but he wants to know her. No woman has made him feel this way before. Laynie is different and he feels it. Laynie knows the stranger is there every day but he never speaks to her. She feels his presence and just his scent makes her have feelings of lust. Tease just watches her work until finally they speak. Laynie doesn't know why the stranger is so rude but she is still attracted. Tease doesn't know why he cares what she thinks and why he wants to kiss her so badly. He knows he can't have the good that Laynie is because the monster inside him would destroy her.
Tease is an action filled romance that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster of ups and downs. Tease has been on his own since he was young and has not dealt with the devastation of his childhood. Laynie is an exuberant and has a positive outlook on life. She is more determined to live life to it's fullest. Both Tease and Laynie are believable characters and Geri Glenn enabled me to be able to feel their emotions and easy to relate to. This made for a fast read. The storyline deals with loyalties, friendship, and betrayal. Great read for me. Great job Geri Glenn! Can't wait to see what' s next.
Rating 4 Stars - Loved It

Thoughts I am late on my reviews and Tease was on my book boyfriend list for 2017. He is a delicious alpha male biker who is moody, broody and trust no one because of his past. What I loved most was his actions with Laynie. Through out the novel he did not think twice about just grabbing her hand or putting her hand on his lower back to help guide her. He never felt sorry for her or acted different around her because of her blindness.

Laynie had the best personality and great out look on life. Instead of feeling helpless or sorry for her self when she lost her sight she decided to live life to the fullest. She does not think he is a monster. He is comfortable around her. Since her accident her family treats her differently. They think she is fragile and are still uncomfortable around her. She can hold her own with his moods.

“That’s awesome. We’ve kissed twice, and both times, I was amazing! You’re a lucky guy.”

They made a perfect couple. Opposites on their out look on life. She really needed someone that would not treat her different and he needed someone to show him how to really live.
Overall Opinion I liked this, until the end. I felt like I got jipped! I wanted more, and I didn't feel like I had nearly enough closure to be happy. I did enjoy it because the characters were likeable and there also wasn't so much mc drama to take away from the romance -- I just wanted more of it and maybe a larger commitment in the end.

Brief Summary of the Storyline This is Laynie and Tease's story. Tease has been watching this mysterious beauty for a while now, and one day they bump into each other. Because of Tease's past he isn't interested in more than watching for now, but after an accident with her service dog they are thrown together. They spend more time together, and the attraction grows into love. There is some typical mc drama, some sexy times, and some sweet moments...and the couple get a HFN ending.

POV This alternated between Laynie and Tease's POV.

Overall Pace of Story Good until the end. The book is too short IMO. I usually only read books that are 200+ pages because a lot of the time I don't feel like I had enough of the couple, and I did get that a little with this one. I understand wanting to set it up for another book in the series, but the last section being about Jase and not an epilogue for the couple was disappointing. I never skimmed, and I did feel like it flowed well.

Instalove Kind of. They both felt feelings pretty quick, but it wasn't the type that annoys me.

H rating 4 stars. Tease/Travis. I liked him. He was a broody biker with a soft center ;)

h rating 4 stars. Laynie. I liked her. She never let her disability get her down, and I liked where she called the H out when he was being a jerk.

Sadness level Low/moderate. There is one sad scene that got me a little teary, but I didn't need any tissues.

Heat level Moderate. They had pretty good chemistry, and ok scenes.

Descriptive sex Yes

Safe sex Not really. Some mention of condom use, and some scenes do not mention it. No other mention of birth control or std status. No mention of previous practices either.

OW/OM drama Mild

Separation No

Closure This had not nearly enough closure for me!! I wanted more! I would call it a HFN ending.
